Each child in our nursery has a key worker, who is qualified. The key workers duty is to look after their child, assess their progress and record their achievements in a learning journal which is given to parents when the child leaves to go to school but it can be accessed before.
Each child follows a carefully planned curriculum which follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (see www.direct.gov.uk/eyfs for further details) promoting all areas of learning and development which prepares your child for school. We focus on childrens’ learning through play which is the 6 areas of learning from the EYFS.
We also work in partnership with parents who help us to develop our nursery to their child’s needs, interests and abilities. We are always listening to parent’s opinions on the nursery and suggestions to improve the nursery and make it a fun and enjoyable place for the child.
Our continuous effort is to aim towards quality and to provide a service that will progress towards “Every Child Matters” agenda.
